WELCOME TO Sacramento Christian Organization of Parent Educators

Vision Statement

SCOPE is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports a community of private independent homeschoolers centered around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We exist to encourage, edify, and empower one another in our biblical conviction that parents have the responsibility and privilege to disciple their children and guide their education.

Mission Statement

SCOPE accomplishes its vision through local support groups (chat groups) in the greater Sacramento region. Every member is strongly encouraged to participate in a Chat group as this is where we develop relationships that provide edification and nurturing. Our members use their spiritual gifts to provide mutual support for the glory of God.

We partner With FPM, CHEA and HSLDA on the local, state, and national level for the right to privately, independently homeschool our children.

chat groups

Since SCOPE’s purpose is to support and encourage private home educating families in the greater Sacramento area, we organize smaller regional “Chat Groups” where families gather for more personalized events and activities.

These smaller, intimate groups facilitate meaningful relationships. In our social media saturated world, we need to remember the importance of face-to-face, real life interaction. Chat Groups are a place where real relationships are forged.
