*Limit of two exhibits per student.

2. LEGO/K'NEX JUDGED COMPETITION

Build your Lego or K’nex creation based on this year’s theme, to be judged by Lego enthusiasts.
The Judged Competition is separate from the Exhibition area.

THE 2019 LEGO COMPETITION THEME:

IN THE CITY!

This can be anything related to a city: buildings, a landscape, a park or anything city related.

On Lego Night, we will need to know the title of your entry and how your entry ties into the theme.
Competition creations are grouped by age for judging.

Once all registrations are in, the age groups are finalized, but normally there are five groups:
7 years old & under, 8-10 years old, 11-13 years old, 14-18 years old, and Adults.

Parents and grandparents are welcome to fill out a competition registration form and are not required to have a regular entry. Ribbons are awarded for the top three entries in each age group and a prize is given for 1st Place!

In order to take part in the Judged Competition, the student will need a regular exhibit entered as well. Please be sure to fill in both Exhibition and Competition forms if your student wishes to participate in the Judged Competition. Once your Judged Competition entry form is received, you will be emailed more information, including competition rules.   Competition Registration: This competition is included in the flat rate of $5.   Limit of one competition entry per student.

3. BUILD IT ON-THE-SPOT COMPETITION

Try for a chance to build a Lego creation On The Spot on Lego Night from Legos we provide! Contestants will have 10 minutes to build a creation that is based on In the City-related theme that we announce just before building begins.   This contest is limited to 8 people (2 for each of four age groups). All the names of the students who want to participate will be chosen that night. Not all entering this contest will be able to participate; only the 8 names pulled on Lego Night.   This is for those 17 years old and under who register an exhibit!
